Aalo Gupta is the Manager of Research & Development at Phillips 66 within the Energy Research and Innovation organization. Over the past 10 years at Phillips 66, Aalo has worked in a variety of areas including refining, advanced fuels, low carbon hydrogen, robotics, and biofuels. In his current role he manages efforts around identifying and derisking new opportunities related to implementing sustainable energy technologies at Phillips 66 in addition to overseeing internal research programs focused on hydrogen, renewable fuels, energy storage, sustainability, and life-cycle assessments. Aalo graduated from the University of Minnesota where he received a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Chemistry and Indiana University where he received a B.S. in Biochemistry.
