Dr. Davis is a Data Science and Analytics leader with experience building world-class teams, capturing ideas from collaborative R&D projects, forging and refining via customer feedback through proof of concept engagements, and delivering results via deployment of robust, scalable models into customer-facing analytics products. He has over 20 years of cumulative experience in several domains, including machine learning algorithms and tools, modeling and statistical inference, software architecture and development, cloud computing, information security, and high performance computing (HPC). He has been an invited speaker at regional and national conferences, including ACM SIGKDD Conference on Knowledge, Discovery, and Data Mining (KDD), American Medical Informatics Association Annual Conference, and the Oklahoma Supercomputing Symposium. For his doctoral work, Dr. Davis conducted bioinformatics research in genome-wide association studies (GWAS), SNP-SNP and gene-gene interaction analysis, network centrality, fMRI and brain volumetric data analysis, with results published in Nature Genes and Immunity and other peer-reviewed journals. As an academic research faculty, he collaborated with clinicians to analyze medication adherence and study its impact on chronic disease. He was awarded a Harold Hamm Diabetes Center Enrichment Grant in collaboration with a clinical partner to perform an analysis of sensor-augmented pump therapy data from continuous glucose monitoring of type 1 diabetes pediatric and adolescent patients. As a founding member of an Internet security startup, he was co-inventor of a patented image authentication system that formed the basis of the company's flagship product. Dr. Davis holds BS, MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Tulsa.
