Dr. Robert Miller is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Office of Skydweller Aero Inc., a U.S.-Spanish aerospace company developing renewably powered aircraft for defense and commercial industries. Dr. Miller previously acted as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Parry Labs, a high-growth defense and intelligence consulting and project management company focused on UAV system integration, cyber, electronic warfare and communications capability development. Prior to Parry Labs, Dr. Miller was CTO of AME Unmanned Air Systems and Chandler/May (“CMI”), where he captured and managed the Fury UAS development program through first flight. He was instrumental in AME’s private equity capital raising process, and the combined AME/CMI sale to Lockheed Martin. Prior to AME and CMI, Dr. Miller was Director of Future Unmanned Systems at Northrop Grumman. Dr. Miller held key roles as a Special Assignment IPT Lead to the Fire Scout Program Return-to-Flight, VMS IPT Lead for Special Projects, GNC Lead for Northrop Grumman/Boeing NASA CEV Team, Manager for VMS and Flight Controls for Special Projects, and the DARPA UCAR Mission Management and Control IPT Lead. Dr. Miller holds several patents and is the author of numerous papers in the area of VMS and Flight Controls. Dr. Miller holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, an MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from University of Michigan.
