Allison Foster

Manager, Partnerships

After several decades of traveling the world for business, Allison is excited to finally work in her hometown of Tulsa. Allison has spent her career building strategic partnerships, client relationships, and experienced service teams. Allison's super power is people - building, serving, mentoring, and partnering with them. With over 20 years of operations, account management, and project management experience, Allison is looking forward to contributing her knowledge and expertise in the efforts to build Tulsa into a diverse and inclusive tech hub. 


For the last four years, Allison worked as Vice President of North America Operations at Clarion Events planning large-scale events, managing partner relationships, and vendor collaborations to deliver outstanding experiences for internal and external customers. Prior to Clarion Events, Allison worked for more than 15 years at PennWell Corporation, the Tulsa-based, family owned, global media company which was acquired by Clarion Events in 2018. 


At TIL, Allison is responsible for the management of TIL’s Advisory Councils, building strong multi-sector relationships and working to achieve shared long-term goals and objectives. With Allison's extensive experience with people and partnerships, she will also be responsible for external relations and fostering relationships with TIL's diverse set of stakeholders both locally and abroad.


A Tulsa native, Allison graduated from the University of Oklahoma and is a die-hard Sooners fan, along with all of her family.  Allison loves the city of Tulsa, growing her family here, and now having the opportunity to pour her experience, energy, and enthusiasm into Tulsa's economic development efforts. In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and her very active four children.
