Black Tech Street recently announced a powerful new partnership with NVIDIA, a giant in AI hardware and software, setting the stage to transform Tulsa’s Historic Greenwood District into a national model for artificial intelligence innovation, education, and community and economic growth.
This isn’t just another tech deal—it’s a major leap forward for the region. The announcement solidifies Tulsa’s leading presence in the national technology ecosystem, catalyzing the Greenwood District’s economic growth by accelerating tech startups, enhancing talent development and creating high-paying jobs in the world’s fastest growing industries.
Under a newly signed memorandum of understanding, Black Tech Street will tap into NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI technology and training resources. The goal? To equip students, entrepreneurs, and community members with the skills needed to thrive in AI. Through a collaboration with Langston University, Oklahoma State University, Tulsa Community College and local organizations, the initiative aims to train 10,000 individuals across the region, unlocking inclusive growth and innovation in the AI sector.

While this partnership begins in Tulsa, its impact will reverberate across the Heartland, laying the foundation for Oklahoma to emerge as a national leader in AI education and innovation.
Black Tech Street, a steering committee member of Tulsa’s Tech Hub, is an organization working to rebirth historic Greenwood as a premier innovation economy rooted in AI, Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies.
NVIDIA is the global leader in accelerated computing. Founded in 1993, the company’s invention of the GPU sparked the growth of the PC gaming market and has redefined modern computer graphics, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence.
